Had to succumb to doing some school work today as it is Parent Interviews tomorrow and it will be advantageous to have some marks in the book.

Got stuck into the cleaning. Dusted the shutters, vacuumed and washed the floors before taking Snowy for a walk down the park.

Went to Bunnings for a pruning saw and Aldi for coffee pods, wine and milk.

After lunch, I attacked the pittosporum trees up the side. Noticed that several had fungus growth and dead leaves. Could be a sign. 

The butcher of Woods Street is back.

This isn't going to fit in the green bin.

Used the bow saw to cut most of the branches. Oh for a baby chain saw.

Took the Focus for wheel rotation and alignment.

Painted the front door and surrounds. Painted the hallway arch.

Collected the car and went food shopping.

Entertained Snowy.

Curriculum Day at Lakeside Receptions.

Drove Al to station and dropped his car off for a wheel alignment. Worked back home with Snowy.

Clean up time. Got a trailer and got rid of some more rubbish. Eva was happy.

Agapanthas be gone. Ripped out the plants and discovered that the sleepers needed replacing.

After taking Snowy for a walk around the river, I hung out the washing.

Kingsley, the duct cleaning man arrived and I proceeded to finish painting the laundry ceiling and bulkhead above the wall cupboards.

I then replaced the filter on the intake grill of the heating unit.

And then I proceeded to vacuum and wash the floors.

Painted the retaining wall around the pool. Probably needs a second coat. On Saturday. 

Have a coffee before venturing to Highpoint to get new pants taken up. 

T1W2: more of the same

With an expected top of 33°, it was a quick cleanup around the pool.  Cut the convolvulus

and swept the leaves  up.

Sorted out a Planet Earth series for Al and finally got painting just before midday.

Completed the skirtings and architraves in the laundry and toilet.

T1W1: Let the fun begin

• Sanded  and filled gaps in the the architraves in the toilet and laundry.
• Moved shelves in the laundry cupboard to fit in the vases.
• Removed the pine wine racks from the pantry.
• Removed mouldy silicone around bathroom vanity basin and replaced with fresh white filler.
• Painted toilet ceiling and walls.
